Taking care of senior devotees is a most valuable service. If Srila Prabhupada were present today, surely he would have made arrangements to take care of his disciples when they become old and invalid. Indeed, he even constructed Krsna- Balaram Mandir just so that his western disciples would have a place for themselves when they would visit the Holy dhama or retire after a lifetime of hard preaching work.
So there is a need for Higher Ground Devotional Care Foundation to provide care for our aged (senior) vaisnava's and spiritualists who are disabled, infirm, and or terminally ill. Our intention is to provide care in a home that belongs to the organization. The care would be around the clock in an environment that is conducive to spiritual awareness.
Everyone should contribute or support this project, as time and tide wait for no man, and such activities are pleasing to guru and Krishna.

"At this point in my life, after having reached 63 years of age and seeing many of my godsisters and brothers entering into their seventies, I am very encouraged and pleased to have become acquainted with Jasoda Gokularani Devi Dasi. She has been developing a project dedicated to caring for Vaisnavas in need. There are plenty of devotees these days that do need assistance with daily activities that most of us would take for granted. She, along with a few other compassionate, caring devotees, have made themselves available to do what is required and assist those in need. This includes those who may simply need transportation to and from appointments or help with cleaning or to even help in bathing, dressing and cooking for one with more disability.
She has been helping to assist my 94 year old mother since 2016. I have found her to be extremely capable and dependable. She can also be flexible, very accommodating and willing to make adjustments when the need arises. My mother loves her and looks forward to her visits. This also frees me to break away and spend some much needed time engaging in other activities outside of the home.
I am very thankful for the service she is providing and feel very fortunate to have someone I can count on to help with care for my aged mother. I highly recommend Jasoda devi dasi and her crew.
